Product Details

The TARTHEREDGE 2 TENKA running shoe is the complete racing and fast-paced training package. Appearing with a limited model colorway, this variation is representative of the Japanese term, Basara, which translates to "diamond" in Sanskrit lettering. Additionally, the shoe also incorporates a unique graphic concept that references the concept of "Hitogata" - a traditional armor that's meant to protect from the threat of life.

The new upper mesh is designed to improve airflow around the foot. This design saves energy by keeping the foot cool so the body doesn’t have to work as hard to regulate temperature. Over a long race or training session, this energy savings can really add up, helping runners achieve their goals.

The midsole is constructed with FLYTEFOAM Propel technology to promote a high-energy return that increases the bounce effect with a responsive energy return.

The DUOSOLE outsole construction offers lightweight flexibility and traction to help you go further. Featuring a molded AHARPLUS heel plug to reduce excessive wear, this shoe also implements a PROPULSION TRUSSTIC SYSTEM technology for added stability and responsiveness as the foot moves from foot strike to toe-off.

Whether you're a competitive racer or simply like challenging yourself to beat your personal best, the TARTHEREDGE 2 TENKA model will help you take your fast-paced training and racing to the next level.

Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The TARTHEREDGE 2 TENKA is made for Neutral and Underpronation.

  • Over

Underpronation

  • Foot type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

Neutral

  • Foot type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
