Whilst pop culture often associates the Koala and Kangaroo with Australia, the unmistakable sound of a Kookaburra’s “laugh” is enough to transport any ex-pat Aussie back home in an instant.
An icon in it’s own right, the GEL-LYTE III OG is kitted out with the earthy tones of Kookaburra plumage, accented with flashes of vibrant blue. This combination is evocative of Kookaburras but also remains wearable thanks to careful consideration. The shoe acknowledges it’s historic roots through ingeniously adapted archival references, acting as hidden gems to be decoded by dedicated fans.

The GEL-LYTE™ III OG sneaker features a mesh upper with rough cut suede overlays along with an ASICS x UP THERE branded tongue. With a custom shoe box, this collaboration also features reflective details, additional laces and archival-inspired patterns.
